All rates are subject to change based on # of occupants and length of stay.

Tofino Rv Rentals is associated with the Longbeach Campground. If you choose not to stay at Longbeach Campground and wish to have the RV parked at another chosen site all fees must be paid to the campground of choice prior to renting with Tofino RV.

Staying at Longbeach Campground

Fully serviced site with, power sewer, and water.

$80 per night plus taxes, this includes campsite rental, July and August 3 night minimum.

Staying at other campsites in area: $95 per night, minimum 5 day rental. Plus applicable campsite fees, taxes and $50.00 drop off fee

Must be 25 years or older to rent. All rentals will be subject to a $250 security deposit.

All fees are subject to G.S.T and in June the new H.S.T will be charged. Reservations made prior to June will be subject to the HST charge.

Daily Pet fee of $10.00 per day only one pet allowed.

For a true west coast experience, the Long Beach Campground & Golf Course offers 76 camp sites in our wilderness campground, adjacent to the golf course. Nestled in the ancient rain-forest that surrounds the grounds of the golf course, the campground is only minutes from the waves of the Pacific Ocean and Long Beach in Pacific Rim National Park.

5 newly created full hook up RV sites are now available: These are not in the campground map provide and are located just outside the campground area and are very open sites.

Activities

Tofino and the Pacific Rim Region offer a wide variety of activities including guided rain forest tours, scenic wildlife cruises, bird watching, and whale watching tours. From golf, mini-golf and great food at the Long Beach Golf Course to exploring the ancient rain forests and scenic beaches of the Pacific Rim National Park. Interpretive activities and art galleries offer a chance to experience the local First Nations' culture. The ocean waves of the west coast are perfect for surfing and body boarding along the beautiful beaches and for the more adventurous there is sea kayaking treks, seaplane cruises and diving excursions to chose from.

After the spending the day exploring the west coast treat yourself to a relaxing massage or steam-bath at one of Tofino's spa establishments. Enjoy dinner at one of Tofino's many great restaurants such as the Shelter, the Schooner or the Wickaninnish Inn.

Travel

Tofino lies on the West Coast of Vancouver Island in Canada's most Western province, British Columbia. Tofino is the Western Terminus of the Trans Canada Highway, at the very end of Highway 4.

The road to the west coast is winding and steep as you drive through the mountains. Please check the weather conditions and road conditions before you leave.

Route Planner

Coming from Vancouver you can travel via B.C. Ferries from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo’s Departure Bay or alternatively from Tsawassen, either to Duke Point near Nanaimo, or to Swartz Bay near Victoria. From Washington state you can travel via the Coho Ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria or via Washington State Ferries from Anacortes to Sidney, near Victoria.

Going North on Highway 1 coming from Victoria, follow the signs towards Nanaimo and Parksville. The Trans Canada Highway follows Highway 19 just outside of Nanaimo. After you pass Parksville, you take exit 60 and turn onto Highway 4 following the signs toward Port Alberni.

Follow the road through Port Alberni, to the junction after the bottom of the hill. Turn right and still follow Highway 4. Check your gas now, the last gas station is just outside of Port Alberni on the road to Tofino. At the end of this winding road through the coastal range mountains, you will reach the junction of the roads towards Ucluelet and Tofino. Take a right at this junction, heading towards Tofino and proceed north through the Pacific Rim National Park.

General Policies

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-in is 1:00 pm. Check Out is 11:00 am. Keys will be in the campground office or Proshop and final registration will take place then.

One Night Bookings

Depending on availability and time of the year we may consider a one night rental. Please be prepared for two night rentals in off season and three nights in high season.

Amenities

Bed & Bath Linens

Fully equipped with good quality bed linens and bath towels, hand towels, facecloths and bathtub and shower mats.

Kitchens

Self-contained and are equipped with cookware, glassware, flatware and utensils, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and outdoor BBQ.

Payment

We accept payment by Visa or MasterCard or cheque. Payment by cheque or Money Order must be in Canadian funds.  Please note all credit cards payments will appear on your statement as “Longbeach Golf” Full payment is required at time of booking. A $10.00 reservation fee will be charged and a $250.00 deposit will also be held.

Rental Policies

Making a Reservation

Please call 250-725 3314 or 725-3332 to book RV rentals. Full payment is due at time of booking. Please note if you are not staying at Longbeach Campground campsites must be booked prior to booking Tofino RV. Other campsites refund and policies would still apply in addition to ours.

Cancellation

There is a 14-day cancellation policy. If you cancel with 14 days notice or more your deposit less a $10.00 Cancellation Fee will be refunded to you. If you cancel with less than 14 days notice the entire cost of accommodation is forfeited.

Limitation of Liability

Tofino RV rentals will make every effort to ensure that the accommodation is provided as described for the time reserved, or to provide alternate equivalent accommodation. TRVR cannot guarantee that the accommodation will be available as reserved, as there are matters beyond its control including but not limited to loss of the accommodation by fire, flood, earthquake, tsunami, or other damage, changes of ownership, termination of management services, changes in the law, or seizure or other loss of the accommodation property.  Beyond a refund of all payments made, TRVR assumes no responsibility or liability arising out of the accommodation not being available or suitable.  TRVR assumes no responsibility or liability for injury, loss or damage arising out of the use or occupation of the accommodation.

Noise

Quiet Time is 11:00 pm through 8:00 am. If we receive a noise complaint from neighbouring residents or guests arising from excessive noise after 11:00 pm or before 8:00 am TRVR may at its sole discretion charge you a $150 Noise Fine. TRVR has a zero tolerance for any noise disturbances caused by guests. Please respect the quiet enjoyment of your neighbours’!

Excessive Wear and Tear

The person making and paying for the rental of RV is financially responsible for the cost of repairs arising from any damage beyond normal wear and tear including but not limited to carpet/floor stains, interior wall damage, appliance repairs arising from improper use, window and window covering damage, permanent linen stains, dry cleaning costs associated with stains, breakage, theft, and any other damage noted on departure incurred, sustained or brought by any person occupying or using the accommodation.

Keys

You are required to return all sets of keys at the time of check-out. There will be a $25 charge to replace any lost keys.

Pets

Pets are welcome. For those guests bringing pets, there is a pet fee of $10 per day plus 5% GST per pet. Dogs are required to be on leash pursuant to the Tofino Leash Bylaw at all times when on beaches, trails, roads, etc. Guests are responsible for picking up and disposing of pet poop at all times. Pets must not be left unattended in or at the RV at any time during your stay!

Excessive Cleaning

If additional housekeeping is required above and beyond the normal time allotted for each accommodation you will be charged at an hourly rate of $25 per person for each additional hour of housekeeping required. To avoid excessive cleaning fees please ensure that:

Late Departure Charge

Check-out time is 11:00 AM.  Any late charges resulting from an unscheduled late check-out will be charged back to your credit card. The rate of $50 per hour will be charged unless arrangement have been made in advance.

Smoking

For your health and enjoyment, all RV’s are non-smoking. A $300 Smoking Fine will be charged to your credit card if you smoke inside the RV. You may smoke outside the RV but are responsible for picking up and disposing of your cigarette butts.

Permitted Occupants

Our RV has a maximum number of permitted guests, depending on the number of sleeping units, as indicated on our website. If you arrive with more than the permitted number of guests, or have more than the permitted number of guests at the RV at any time, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation and the cost of your accommodation rental will be forfeited.

Lost & Found

TRVR is not responsible for any personal items left behind on departure and will hold items for 2 weeks after departure. Items left behind will upon request be returned by mail COD or by other means as requested for a minimum of  $25.

Acceptance of Rental Terms

By proceeding with a rental of accommodation you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and accept the rental policies, that you agree to pay the accommodation costs and associated fees, and you agree to the limitation of renters liability.
